How much coin for the Behringer?

@ wankerbez:
that photo is old, behringers were replaced, thats when lemur weren't out. I know 3 guys at Jazzmutant. so source is reliable. From press release be Jazzmutant on February 08
"...They appeared on stage in their pyramid with nothing more than four Lemurs!..."http://www.jazzmutant.com/news.p…
The reason:
besides them designing their custom controls based on templates designed by Ciber Patrol U, (Los Angeles)
The lemurs are visually more appealing and more in tune with their visual set up, in fact a lot of the hardware on that old photo is now gone.

Also Daft Punk was removed from the Behirnger site
http://www.behringer.com/04_ultr…But hey Funsktorung is there and they are better than daft punk!

seriously tho, who needs four voyagers.. honestly this setup reeks of too much money and a desire to show off.

I got one of these a few months ago as a simple controller to travel with.. Novamusik.com were bundling it with the access snow..
at first i completely hated it.. the automap software is so lame and just seemed completely counter intuitive.. but after spending a few days with it recently and creating my own custom template, i have to say its actually a very nice unit..
completely useless for composing.. but for live stuff.. awesome.
- the bundle worked out that it was essentially free.. well, like $30 or something.autoflavour
- I will pick novation over m-audio any day, but that is just me. How do you like it?Meeklo
- this is the first novation product i have owned, my usual controller is my waldorf q..autoflavour
- that said, the 25SL is nicer. the faders are useful.. i dont like pots for volumeautoflavour
- How much was the bundle?boobs
- i think it was like $1200 US or something..autoflavour

I just go this in august
I wish it was that color, the controller is actually pretty fugly. But so far so good, rubber is much like the original mpc, a lot heavier and robust than the trigger finger and it has more faders too.
I wish it could be attached to a cymbal stand like the trigger finger, that in fact is the only thing better from the M-audio version.
- thats something ive been looking at too for the pads. the 32 is out now too23kon
- a few friends of mine have them, but they all complain the pads are sketchy..autoflavour
- that said, they are comparing them to mpc2000xl.. so..autoflavour
- I never had the XL, but I had the mpc 2000 and the pads feel just like themMeeklo

Well, got it plugged into laptop last night.
Switched it on ...
Auto-installs the drivers :)
Launch Ableton, goto preferences, select the BCR2000 option from a dropdown. Make sure its checked to "on".
Then hey presto, thats me away using midi-assign, assigning parameters from plugins to the knobs.
The buttons are all on/off buttons (with a LED light for 'on') and these are just as easy assigned too.Isnt it great these days when everything is just plug-in-and-play.
I remember the chore it used to be setting up midi hardware with Cubase on like win98.

oh aye, that's knobtastic knob23, erm I mean 23kon :p

Albums are so last century.

Midi assign in Ableton is amazing.
Click Midi-Assign (all button/dial/sliders will have a blue overlay)
Goto the button/dial/slider etc that you want to assign a knob to and click it.
Then twist the knob on your hardware.
Unclick Midi-AssignHey presto.
