    Well, got it plugged into laptop last night.

    Switched it on ...

    Auto-installs the drivers :)

    Launch Ableton, goto preferences, select the BCR2000 option from a dropdown. Make sure its checked to "on".

    Then hey presto, thats me away using midi-assign, assigning parameters from plugins to the knobs.
    The buttons are all on/off buttons (with a LED light for 'on') and these are just as easy assigned too.

    Isnt it great these days when everything is just plug-in-and-play.

    I remember the chore it used to be setting up midi hardware with Cubase on like win98.
