they tried to buy 600 dollars worth of hip hop clothes from online store...and they used my debit card number. i seriously have no idea how they would get this information. i'm pretty web saavy so i wouldnt enter such information on a spam site. ugh! fuck! the person even gave an address and a phone number to ship the clothes to. i filed a police report, but here in chicago they dont care.
damn it.

they had your 3-digit security number?
- i know thats what is weird about it.studderine
- its a false security measure like signing your name on the bill...doesn't even matter.studderine

that sucks ass dude. i had a dream last night, actually two separate ones. first my bike was stolen, then my car got broken into and was vandalized. they even took my RIMS! and then i woke up.
anyway, thats what you get for moving to chicago.

how did you find out?

i have noticed sometimes when i go to jimmy johns this one girl looks at my card very carefully when she scans it. motherfucker! i even have the persons name, address and phone number who supposedly used my card. i called the company and they canceled the transaction and gave me the person's shipping address.
- iCanHasQBN0
so you got your monies back?
- studderine0
the transaction was canceled, so i shouldn't be charged. i canceled all my cards, filed a report with the police and did that equifax thing fraud alert. someone really fucked over my gf a long time ago and stole her mail and got her ssn number and rented apartments and bought cars under her name. she is still recovering. fuck that shit.

i am never using my debit card at stores ever again. that is seriously the only way it could have happened. this the first time this has happened to me.
how did she get my name and address?!! i guess that is common information though...fuck fuck fuck.

They could have copied your card at a restaurant or bar you went too.

Punk bastards. Sorry to hear it, and I'm glad you got it canceled. Be on the lookout for more nefarious crap, though. You never know what else they got.
People can be so despicable sometimes when they think they're safe behind anonymity.

I don't use cards at restaurants, or anywhere they disappear with it for a while.
I try not to use cards abroad either.

uh... that sucks.
I myself had a few months ago about 1800 bucks taken out of my account. Apparently 3 eastern europeans had entered some popular stores down town like Guess, DKNY, gap and they somehow switched the debit card machines for theirs which had a way of recording and sending them the details of every card used there.
Did end up gettting the money by the bank. but it angered me.
- That's actually pretty impressive. I would be more impressed than angered given the amount of work that went into getting it.flavorful
- impressive indeed. I could not imagine having the time to fuck around with cables at Club Monaco and shit...VectorMasked
- fuckers apparently had spent months working on all this shit... and boom... one day many fuckers lost money.VectorMasked
- holy shit!studderine
