God no, you would go mad, surely that is what reference books and the internet is for
- OhYeah0
I get someone else to do it and take credit for it.

Pretty much the only thing I have memorised in me noggin is my phone number and address. Anything else tends to push out other info, so I use books and pens to remember the important stuff.

Even actionscripting?

I guess you just have to know enough to know what to look for when things go wrong;-)

Huh, how on earth could anyone ever memorise actionscripting, for a start AS1, 2 or 3 you can be highly proficant at it but surely its greater than the sum of it parts...

I feel a lot better now.

i have various files that i reuse often when setting up a new project - (like a reset.css file that sets everything to 0 for a baseline for example - i just make sure to dump that file in each new project dir.)....
w/ actionscript, js, coldfusion and php etc - i reuse code when i can, but have books and the internet at my disposal.

Can I get some good links with cheat sheets and references?

JAVA - hardly
C++ - none

It's more about know development concepts for languages like JS, AS, PHP, so you know what you're trying to do. Then it's just a matter of syntax.
Knowing how to debug is mighty helpful.
You should know HTML and CSS inside out though.

I remember most of the above, but it's impossible to remember EVERYTHING - notice how most people use code hinting and auto completion :D

If I continue to learn programming, will I evolve into a geek?
