Brand has a shit ton of hair. like 80% of that photo is fucking hair
- mimeartist_com0
Riduclous... Brand supposedly shagged a old actors grand daughter, and let him a message on his answerphone to the effect... the actor was Manuel out of Faulty Towers... and this is his grand daughter, wouldn't be surprised if he was more bothered about his grand daughter, who is a member of the band satanic sluts!

have you brits collectively lost your minds?
i guess they should apologize, it wasn't very tasteful, but now they are discussing it on Prime Ministers Questions Time
this is what happened
- lowimpakt0
what a non-story pile of turd.

I think it's interesting what offends the british public. Just been having a long conversation about it with some brands too, about the tone of our society changing during financial issues.
I think that if they'd of made that joke a year ago, then it would of been overlooked. Everyone had money in their pocket and no one gave a fuck about anything really.
You know what the most complained ad is of all time in the UK? A KFC ad with people talking with their mouths full. We are a funny bunch.

Personally I think that it was in bad taste and if our society deems that to be inappropriate, then frankly its inappropriate. Don't forget the BBC is paid for by tax payers, so people feel quite strongly about what the beeb does.
- True kezza, I mean they even made a fookin show out of the complaints 'Points of View' still think it's blown out of proportion!uncle_helv
- sounds like where the netherlands is heading. everyone complains about the public tvjanne76
- shite nonense shock radio paid for by the govt.janne76

I cannot believe the PM made a statement...errrr sort our country out fella, please!!
it is a total non story 1800 complaints, pfft... how many of those stupid f*ckers a) listen to his show or b) read the Daily Mail
- 45,000 complaints as it goeskezza_2
- he didn't make a statement, a reporter asked him what he thought at prime minister's question timekingsteven

eh come on - Sachs is really a member of the comedic royalty for his Manuel role - he's untouchable and must be accorded the highest respect - you don't make sexy gags about someone's grand-daughter to them, no matter who they are... I don't understand why Ross got caught up in this, he's normally excellent and finding the line and cheekily shuffling over it, not barging over it like this. Andrew Sachs is a god, and the gags were cheap.
- kelpie0
aye, I'm hardly the most proper chap myself but this is way out of order.
- stem0
...and only 2 people complained immediately after broadcast.
...and it was pre-recorded. Doesn't our license fee cover the broadcasting equivalent of proof readers?
- kelpie0
"satanic sluts" though eh? hahahaha.
I would, btw
- Raniator0
no fucking way. blown way way way out of proportion...
2 people complained at the time about the phone messages. fucking millions listen to his show and download his podcast.
fucking miserable cunt, got nothing better to do than complain. sach's is a comedian apparently, just roll with it grandad.
- he accepted their apology and didn't think it should go any further...kingsteven

*understandably not rolling with it much any more
- yeah, but he hasn't fucked her. it was a 'joke'. tasteless maybe, but fired for it? fuck off. it was pre-recorded forRaniator
- fuck sake, why didn't someone edit it out in the first place?Raniator
- yeah he did fuck her, she talks about it in the paper - he genuinely told an old dude he'd fucked his GD on air. cockend.kelpie
- well if she was open and honest she would have told him herself... still bollocks in my opinion.Raniator
- you have a GD, kelpie?janne76
- it wasn't brand who said he fucked his granddaughter, it was ross (brand had told him off-air)kingsteven
- kezza_20
I hope they get fired.
It's like the Jade factor, the public can build you up, and the public can destroy you.
Bad manners still get the British public's back up, and they crossed that line.
- But they cross that line on a weekly basis - It's damn funny radio! The BBC new what he's like when they hired him... I think its just a publicity stuntUKCanuck
- 23kon0
I find the fact that the BBC show Christian tv programs during the morning and afternoons of Sundays far more offensive.
- babaganush0
Disagree completely. Yeah it's blown out of proportion but someone needs to take the pricks down a peg or two...did you listen? It went on waaay to long...overkilled any comedy that was in it and was just offending an innocent guy.
