    I think it's interesting what offends the british public. Just been having a long conversation about it with some brands too, about the tone of our society changing during financial issues.

    I think that if they'd of made that joke a year ago, then it would of been overlooked. Everyone had money in their pocket and no one gave a fuck about anything really.

    You know what the most complained ad is of all time in the UK? A KFC ad with people talking with their mouths full. We are a funny bunch.

    Personally I think that it was in bad taste and if our society deems that to be inappropriate, then frankly its inappropriate. Don't forget the BBC is paid for by tax payers, so people feel quite strongly about what the beeb does.
