they're all over the news and in movies and on tv. they're celebrities and there are so many of them. I miss the olden days when there were actors, sports stars, and rockstars. now there are all sorts of people who are famous for no fucking reason other than the fact that they're famous.

The other day on local morning news they announced famous birthdays. There were scientists, politicians, actors, and then there was Kim Kardashian......who they labeled a "Professional Celebrity". WTF?!
It's true that's all she is but even more ridiculous when you see it on the screen as her occupation.

I turn on the TV last week to watch a Reality TV show on a Tanning Saloon. I mean for fuck sake, a Tanning Saloon. I then turn over the TV channel to the torture of be greeted with the Reality TV show of people in an Airport. That TV license is a winner.
