this chart seems way low on most spectrums other than print and entry level, even for cities outside NYC, LA, and SF.

does skew kind of low, especially on the top end.

I told my SVP at a cocktail party that he could blow me if he promoted me.

i am right at mine, but im in SF. I'm supposed to be 10 above where i am for the area.

This chart is vague. It charts position against year only. No industry, no region, etc. Those things change the figure significantly.

my salary is higher than what the chart says and the chart also doesnt even have my job on it, so it seems very biased and 1 sided to 1 industry.

I'm way under as well. I'm just happy I'm getting paid at all.

Is 50K/yr for a mid-level designer in NYC reasonable? I swear everyone wants to pay like 35K and then after taxes, yah right!

Which title would be the rough equivalent of a freelance illustrator? We never seem to be represented in these salary equations.

I'm almost right on. But, I'm in San Fran so, adjust accordingly.
