Anybody used one of these? They look like they could be pretty sweet. Apparently they run Windows Vista, but it looks like it is some customized version:

*Full touchscreen interface in case the name didn't give it away.

finger prints all over your screen, fucking nightmare.
- just like the iphone no?designbot
- possibly but I don't have one, but this computer would be useless for graphic design I'd go fucking nuts wiping it all the time.chossy

- yeah...suppose it is a WAY bigger screen than the iphone. Still think it looks pretty dope for certain things.designbot
- This is a consumer level PC not at all aimed at designers or professional userstenpointtwo

So it runs vista, and the touch screen is awful. No multi-touch input--if you hold down your finger a "digital mouse" appears on the screen so you can choose to right or left click (LAME). The screenshot you see is the custom software, similar to ilife, that you purchase separately.

I would break fingers if anyone touches my screen

Looks cool for certain things....movies, and the picture viewer thing looks cool. I think it would be awesome for a media center type computer.
Mainly I see at as a giant leap forward that a company like HP would even try something like this. Input devices like mouse/keyboard will soon become obsolete if these products can evolve and penetrate the market. The iphone is another great recent example of getting away from the standard input/interface, and obviously it was a smash. Also the nintendo wii did the same thing. I see all these devices as steps in getting to something much much better in the near future.

i tried it, they got it at circuit city. its not for me, but might apply other. its looks nice, the keyboard and mouse doesn't, then again...didn't expect it to look nice. just standard looking.

Did anyone actually goto the website? All the links are "Undefined".
Or is it just my browser.

I posted this a while back... they can make it look good if they try, but i think it's really defined as an entertainment unit... if you want a normal computer, I don't think this is the one for you... and for the record, that touchscreen software is proprietary HP stuff as I understand...

It would be cool for presentations and client briefs. Other than that... I don't know.
I have always wanted a unit like this for the kitchen though... smaller screen maybe, but you could call up recipes etc, little videos while you cook, w/o a keyboard. It would have to be more resilient though, water proof even.
