I think if you could convince them the cloverleaf is unnecessary you'd be best off. The forms of the clover don't really work with the type that well and I tend to read it as two separate marks. This one is a tough sell if the client insists you keep the clover.

i think you should go back to your design, lose the '4k' bit and concentrate on the clover which you nicely updated anyway. symmetry is your friend, use it to communicate the '4k' idea...

How about showing only half of the clover, put it next to the block of the 4 and cutting the K out of it?

I agree with these posts. If the clover lead is completely necessary, I'd give it another go and try to incorporate the clover more naturally with the logotype. One thing that might help would be to explore a typeface or type treatment that has some rounded edges to echo the clover leaf.

Make the clover bigger!

why not fool around with the clover? the gaps between the leaves could be promising. It seems to aren't dealing with centyral fact they want it. So its shit now, make it better.

Would it look silly if the clover was aligned with the 4K? And not floating away from the 4K?

It'd be really decent without that clover. What was their old logo like? Just the clover? If they wanna move on and rebrand properly, it would be a good idea to get them to ditch it...
Or just use the clover but it seems cliché to begin with

I think the 4K needs to be simplified as I find the positive/negative effect from the 4 K makes it slightly disjointed. As for the clover, could this not be tweaked so that it actually became the 'plus' and not have the plus symbol used within it.

thanks guy's guess i'll have to work on the clover idea

i agree with johndiggity, you can definately play with form of the clover more. at least combining its shape and the plus sign. not just dropping the + on top of it, but making the clover out of the +
