this research also led me to the 'most disturbing children's book' flickr link as well (you might recognize this title from one of my more popular threads here on QBN). this one project has led me through art nouveau, arts n crafts, dutch children's book, 1700s american children's books and now we're onto arabesque resource. i've got a plentitude of resource for future projects :D

Almost everyone knows it here..
about a kid climbing up a neck of a giraffe and telling he got little red boots and more.. and at the end he glides down the giraffe's neck..
