I can't type to save my life!
- akrokdesign0
no. 7 was good as it was, no remix will make it better. its like a bad logo design.
anyone playing no. 15 should be punched in the face.
- 187LockDown0
Did you even listened to it? Dude I don't play 80's or Top 40. These are the best remixes period of those songs. #7 is remixed by arguably 2 of the top producers in electro house (have you ever heard of Vandalism?). And #15 is sick breakbeat remix (of what I will agree with is a cheesy (but catchy) trendy top 40 song).
BTW, I plat #15 and I would like to see someone try and punch in the face over it. I will have you banished from my club!
Well anyways, thanks for the positive part of the review:
"no. 7 was good". and leave it at that and I will say "agreed and thank you!"

Arguing about music is, well, pointless:P
- 187LockDown0
akrokdesign is a producer so we can argue about music. I just don't really think he listened and rather just made comments because they are the only songs he recognized and could quickly say something negative about them. I don't ask that we argue, I would rather people listen if they like this genre of music and download it if they like it. I put a lot into my mixes/production etc... So I'm just putting it out there! :)
- Tark0
no it isn't!!!!!!!!!
- 187LockDown0
Tark, you are contradicting yourself.

Not really my style of House, but some really solid mixing...props!
Did you use Vinyl?
- I've never seen an electro house dj play vinylsherman

no one is going to give your shit a chance with "VOL. 9" on it.
- 187LockDown0
I have 9 mixes in the past year available cannonball, all are Electro House mixes. I don't need some silly name for each mix. I date them, let you know the title and tell you what number it is in the serires of mixes. Standard naming convention here. If you check the zshare page I have over 400 downloads, so I don't think it's that big of a deal that I have written Vol. 9. Check my myspace for complete tracklistings and downloads for Volumes 1-8.
- cannonball0
Well that's what kept me from giving at chance. I saw Vol. 9 and immediately thought of the house music bargain bin at tower records. That's the feedback I gave... sorry of you don't like it. As was mentioned above music taste is objective, so I'm just commenting on how you package it with my honest gut reaction.
I see you've vehemently defended yourself on all comments actually.

Eric Prydz - Call On Me (Wideboys Exclusive Ibiza Mix)
lol
- domacle0
someone spends a lot of time on digital eargasm
- ukit0
C'mon, 187...your music and mixing is good, don't take yourself too seriously...people on here like to bitch and whine;)
- 187LockDown0
Oh believe me ukit, I understand people like to bitch on here. I just thought that might have been the dumbest thing anyone has said to me about my mix. And domacle, If I'm guilt of spending to much time somewhere it is probably beatport or zippyshare. Although I do know about digital eargasmm, my own blog is a better source for Electro House than that. You must understand that the blogs just regergitate the same links to illegal music found on all the other blogs and try to make it as if they are like program directors that have the illest selection of music in the world and give theri two cents about every track. Me on the other hand, I have been DJing for 14 years and always select my music for my new mixes the same. What's new, what's bangin and what can I do to it to make ist sound better. I don't just sit on one guys blog and pull all my music from it. I think your observation is an easy one to make to poke fun at my genre of music, but your dead wrong.
As always, thanks for the support! I don't mind your criticism as long as it makes some kind of sense.

Sorry designbot, forgot to answer yourt question.
Do I use vinyl?
I have spun vinyl for 13 years. I just sold about 200 records I had bought in the past 2 years or breakbeat, prog and electro house. Because I have switched to Serato for the most part. My mixes have never sounded better now that I have done away with scrtchy poppy vinyl (no matter how clean you keep ti it always gets pops and ticks) I only use .wav files or 320kbps mp3 files.
So yes I still spin vinyl records around in acircle to play my music, however; I do not buy vinyl anymore. Since everything I buy is import i save about $10 per purchase by buying digital and of course with the internet today anything is accessible if you want it.
My last set I went out and bought about 10 tracks from beatport and payed $14 USD at a record shop I would have spent well over $100 and had a bunch of bsides I never wanted in the first place. It just makes sense these days. It's not about Electro Hosue DJ's not spinning vinyl. It's all DJ's and one of the bigest reason to swtich to digital files is so that you can play your own remixes, edits, etc..
- I like the scrachy poppy soundtoe_knee
- Yeah not me! lol I like stuff real clear and not damaed sounding unless it's intentional.187LockDown

Hell yeah I take it seriously!
Nothing cookie cutter about my shit. All electronic music has that coookie cutter shit. And then there is a nother tier of top notch production and in the case of Electro House using some of the most advanced/saught after gear, synths and production thechniques out there.
And oh yeah it makes the bitches dance so there is no real argument. Becasue after all isn't it really about bitches shaking their asses? Argue that!
- neue75_bold0
fucking hell you're daft... no, it isn't really all about bitches shaking their asses... show some self-respect, possibly a smidgen of intelligence and just admit that a lot of these tracks are rubbish... don't you think that you needed to drop even one "challenging" track or at least something with substance into that set...
- 187LockDown0
I'm daft? If you can use the word "fucking" then why don't you just call me "fucking stupid" instead of daft! Say what you mean.
Show some self repect? You think the only reason I like a song is because I think a girl will shake their ass? Then you are daft. Your a daft punk ass bitch! I will stand up to my comment that you must be able to keep women captivated on the dancefloor or there will be no one on the dancefloor. So yes, I want bitches shaking their ass!
Please give me some ideas of songs with substance. Keep it relevent, something new and somwhere in the house genre and by challenging, what do you mean? Please, give me guidance wise one. Give me 1 song you think is challenging and of substance I don't spin at a hooka lounge so keep it somewhere above 120BPM.
