oh, hello beautiful designers:
I live, work and breath in the US_+ it is more than time for a change. {boston to be exact}
I am interested in going for a graduate degree in design in Europe. Being the hip and in the know site and blog can anyone suggest possible universities and or programs? I lived in France as a child so my French is good and I could enter a regular University there....
Google apparently doesn't want to support my over seas education and I am really hoping you have some time to lend some advice.
yaaaaa-hoooooooooooooooooo
+ thank you, thank you, thank you
{and I am updating my website as we speak in case you were wondering if this chick was legit}

I don't know if technically you'd be getting a graduate degree there, but you can always check out the Gerrit Rietveld Academie in Amsterdam.

I always thought cranbrook would be cool. But that's back in the US.

Central Saint Martins or Royal College of Art? I did a BA in the states and then a course at CSM and found it much more experimental... it was really good for me. good luck!

what about schools in france? any good design ideas?

Grad school is a waste of time unless you want to teach. They teach nothing of the real world. Get a job, you will learn more.

I was in Paris this summer, I think the schools there are probably more traditional in medium. IDK what kind of grad school program you're looking into... Bastille had a lot of indie shops and artwork on the streets here and there. I loved the place, but I don't speak French, the subway and everything is great! If you're looking for change and can afford school or better yet get citizenship, (since you grew up there?) just take a dive and move on down, don't look back. And theres always the Royal College of Art just across the water and through the tunnel. Good luck!
