well, it's brilliant dropshadow or not, I'd just hate to see you implement some 'usability' aspect that may not be necessary... from my point of view, if the menu is visible 80% time, then job done..

maybe more intresting (for me) then the site itself, this is how I feed my site, everything is just drag&drop, and I love it...
I drag one piece to a category and its immediately online, or change the chronology in a second.

Nice work...and quality site man.
The only thing that threw me was the "next" and "back" hover style buttons that pop up. Seems like there should be some static buttons or arrows or something. It wasn't obvious to me where to click, but maybe that's just me.
Anyway really quality stuff, the photos you have under "design" are sweet, makes the site so much more interesting than just a flat image.

So what sort of coding/dev work did you do, or pay someone else to do? I want desperately to redesign my pungent hunk of a fluorescent full-screen monstrosity, but have 1) nought for time and 2) shart a little every time I think about learning code.

I do get really jazzed up over code and especially a nice and easy flash-based cms... especially for clients, it seems logical, makes things easier and more intuitive...
