it does look nice as a screenshot. in real life it blows.

I do not like the use of black. My visual path is blockaded, making me a little anxious on where to go/what to do. The adspaces are in too premium of a location, and waste space.

Two places to access all categories is redundant and confusing. Placing some categories on the main nav and leaving some out makes me feel like the content hierarchy is broken, and that it will be hard to find stuff on , say, software, or that the content will be insufficient for me.The pros: I really like the footer. I fee like this is more usable than anything else. Too bad it's so hidden.

This could look so much better if more attention was paid to a stricter grid.
The footer columns do not line up with the rest.
The smaller images within the main "Star Trek" image should be a little bigger so they also line up with the grid.
There are a lot of details like this that would improve the integrity and structure of the site. It looks underdone to me.

I don't like the way the content is split into the big clumsy blocks. It's a reasonably tidy site but nothing particularly inspiring.
