Bumping this thread for back-to-school shizz... I've seen the usual, love my Field Notes, but I need something larger for some serious notetaking. I like the MUJI notebooks but they have so few pages...
A4 and B5 are both good sizes, option of gridded or ruled (6mm line height is good)... definitely 100 pages or so (more the better).
http://doanepaper.bigcartel.com (good for pads, been using them for thumbnails and such)

This is also great, the Dot Grid Book
- I love this book. I wish they sold it in a book with a higher page count, but oh well.TheFatBaron

Best notebooks are the 60p ones you can pick up from newsagents, all these others (apart from maybe the Muji ones) are for Habitat mums to doodle in during golf club lunches.

I bought a wire binder and stared making sketchbooks. I am having a blast doing it. I will take some photos and put them up.
If anyone wants to start a notebook exchange that would be different.

I love the different grids, it would be cool to expand that. Do it!

Ever since OneNote http://office.microsoft.com/en-u… ... I actually use my notebook computer as my notebook and carry this around with me everywhere.
Yes, I lose the countless hours of doodling I used to do but I've become more efficient.
