Anyone know what's in store for the new Creative Suite?
I just purchased CS3 in January and would rather not shell out more $$$'s for an upgrade. I have signed up to the video seminar where they reveal it next Tuesday

rumours say it is not that big an update

I bet it's a big bank balance upgrade for Adobe though :)

full 3D engine and kinematic animation in Flash... should be interesting.
but no AS4... since ECMA is still rocking.
- it's still nothing compared to that underground roller coaster ride they have in NYC! Weeeee!_salisae_

Anyone know if Illustrator or InDesign are going to be rocking decent updates?

hopefully it works better with Flash.

Does anyone even still use 'Flash' for doing serious flash stuff for the web?? Wouldn't mind knowing if Flex will benefit at all though.

I still think they can bring back some freehand features into illustrator

CS3 works great on my Mac Pro with Leopard. They'll have to do a lot more than this to get me to part with $700

There are some nice additions to indesign. I've always hoped they could add the ppi and colour space for the links panel.

Considering all the applications you get, what you can do with them and the fact that one small job can pay for the whole Suite... why should they charge less? I am not saying it's not expensive, but I think there is value there.
I will also add, after using Adobe products for years, on both PC and Mac, I think they have dropped the ball on Mac as I find its actually a more stable experience now on a PC... a 360 turn from the old days when an Adobe product on PC was atrocious.
- They could have waited at least another 6 months to a year for CS4 though.ETM
- i need more time to learn all the new shit so i can work to pay for their pricing of new products is what i am saying.Tark
- apple has been telling them for years to get on cocoa = MONEY GRUBBING lazy BASTARDSacescence
- 360 turn? maybe 180....dmay
