They are the most popular ads of the last 5 years.
Their recall rates are 20% above anything else. Problem is if you measure ads by recall rates you get "stuck in the head" factor not whether they fucked people off or not.
But No one can deny that they have been the most successful ad campaign of the last 5 years. Scary indeed.

Hey kezza, I put a pitch together for a company up here in Edinburgh for a Bank of scotland commercial, and it was basically exactly the same as the halifax ads. singing dancing all that shite, The creative involved sat there saying "you know when you hit the nail on the head, I just know that they will love this, it is easy, honestly, they will love this, I can't wait to do the ads. when we win the pitch".
They didn't win the pitch LOL.
