I'm completely fascinated with this drink. It's like this enigma... it's impossible to describe its flavor, it just tastes like "Dr. Pepper". The drink literally tastes like itself.
And there's no brand competition or equivalent. There might be cheap knock-offs, but that's different. It's just like this magical, exclusive market that no one tries to even penetrate. It's not like Coke vs Pepsi. It just lives happily in it's own world, no one trying to fuck with it, like this infinite immutable presence.

I'll agree with you there. Dr. Pepper is the best soft drink. I used to have a massive obsession for 2. liter plastic bottle Dr. Pepper poured over ice in a styrofoam cup. Not sure why, but it just tasted PERFECT that way.

i remember comparing dr pepper and rootbeer many years ago - went for rootbeer.

I've never seen this before. Drink slowly and you can taste all 23 flavors? I literally have to run to the studio fridge and grab a can now to test this out. This could be awesome.

My 2 favorite soft drinks are Dr Pepper and Tonic Soda.

During the eighties, the only place I could find Dr. Pepper in the UK was Hyper Value. I'm not sure of the US equivalent of Hyper Value but they also sold cheap plastic garden gnomes and other such tat.
