Why's this a big deal? Normal kids don't blink at shit like that, they're too young to have been conditioned to fear the Mass. It's only as we get older and accrete our own fears that we baulk at things like public speaking.

It just reinforces the point that almost without fail..
"other people's kids are annoying as shit".
It's something that is difficult to remember AS a parent, but it comes with practise. A few close family members and friends are the only ones interested in how funny/clever/cute your child is, to the rest of the world they are cocky, rude or ignorant of either themselves or how to behave properly.
