You guys ever work as a hired hand on a farm? I have. Twice. Two summers in a row, actually, and the first I had to ride my bike four miles to. As a teenager, thank heavens: the deep psychic trauma has been dulled with the years.
- Actually, working at Logocare looks pretty bad too. http://logocare.com/…dog_opus

@ Llyod.
There used to be a toll road about an hours drive from me. I had cause to be on it very late at night a few times and I noticed that there were two attendants in the same booth; one male and one female. This road was deserted most of the time...
It would be inevitable really, don’t you think, that a bit of slap n’ tickle would take place?
- best company I had was an ex lineman for the Washington RedskinsLlyod

no joke.......a lot of "good" first world jobs are pretty shitty. My pops worked for a major paper manufacturer (you definitely buy their products) and they had this thing where they wanted to hit 1 million man hours with no lost time accidents. ( Grocery stores cant even do that.)
They had a policy that if NOBODY in the entire plant (like 2k people) got injured @ all, then everybody got an extra week (maybe it was 2) of vacation.
This created an environment where people were getting injured and not reporting it because they would have 1999 people pissed off at THEM. This one guy had 4 fingers severed, and rather than report it, he put them in his work gloves, THREW THEM AWAY and clocked out and went home. Said he did it on his own time.
Long story short, somebody found them and he ended up getting fired for not following procedure.
- Selfish prick. How dare he throw away his own severed fingers?
//MrOneHundred - he could hitchhike his way homeLlyod
- Yep, when I cut off a finger, my first thought is always “ah shit, there goes my vacation”.MrOneHundred

i worked as a dishwasher in a cafeteria at a New York state college. The disgusting crap that was on those trays...ugh. People would mash things together, stick the cups in the concoctions, spill shit all oer the tray. And the worst part is that they kept coming, tray after tray after tray down the conveyor belt. Lasted two days there

I was a laborer in the yard of a sheet metal plant for a summer. Had to sort huge AC ducts for airports by hand and load em onto trucks. That was pretty rough.
I was a bike messenger for a stint. Fuuuck that.
