Ryan is all about "reforming" Medicare and Social Security so that no one without millions in savings is ever able to retire comfortably. Then take that money and use it to drop the top tax rate by 10%.
He does have big plans, but they are more about changing the balance of society than fixing the economy short term.

America is too vast geographically, and too different culturally from one coast to the other. We fight too hard to call ourselves "united". We're not united at all.
I propose these areas secede from the union, and form their own nations with their own unique government systems, laws, and currencies. I simply grouped these states based on their social and economic similarities to one another. If you feel some of these groupings are wrong, you're probably right, since I only spent a mere three minutes thinking all of this over.
If a person wants to move from one country to another, they can trade their comparable job and house with someone from another country who also wishes to move. An online database can be created to match people up for trades.
Austin, Texas is permitted to join that hippie-weirdo nation on the west coast if said municipality chooses to do so.
