Where are all of Obama's past girlfriends and friends?
"I hadn't thought about this - but where are O's past girlfriends - surely he had at least one? No past girl friends popping up anywhere? Strange - strange to the point of being downright weird!
OK, this is just plain old common sense, no political agendas for either side. Just common knowledge for citizens of a country, especially American citizens, who know every little tidbit about every other president (and their wives) that even know that Andrew Jackson's wife smoked a corn cob pipe and was accused of adultery, or that Lincoln never went to school or Kennedy wore a back brace or Truman played the piano.
We are Americans! Our Media vets these things out! We are known for our humanitarian interests and caring for our 'fellow man.' We care, but none of us know one single humanizing fact about the history of our own president."

I supported O in 2008, I highly doubt that I'll vote for this guy the second time around. He's more or less the same as all of rest in my opinion. "Change and Hope" equals marketing motto, nothing more. Good marketing in fact, but bad execution on promises.
He better come up with something good, because the economy pretty much sucks and his lame ass is dragging, regardless of the lack of quality Republican candidates. Middle-line / Independent voters are going to have a hard time sticking with him. At least, that seems like the general consensus.
- A lot will depend on how onerous the Repub nominee ends up beinglocustsloth
- For instance, i don't care how bad O fucked up, i'd never want to be complicit in the election of Bachmann or Perrylocustsloth
- i meant how ODIUS the Repub nom is
(stupid brain)locustsloth - Well, true Perry is a numbskull. Bush Junior in progress. However, Romney has decent experience and at least knows********
- how to fix broken companies, etc. Not exactly the same, but he probably could fix this shit economy. O hasn't.********
- and two wrongs don't make a right. Playing that lesser of the evil shit is ludicrous, but I suppose we're stuck in it.********
- Obama, such a huge disappointment. Now, he's trying to parlay this protest shit. Give me a fucking break.********
- Romney ran companies by busting them up, laying off workers and selling the assets. keep that in mind.DrBombay
- Hey that might be the case, but the companies became successful. I'm looking at Obama and scratching head.********
- Successful at the expense of workers? Romney will never be president. Mormon in the white house ain't happening.DrBombay
- Use your vote wisely.DrBombay
- Mormon in the white house? That's what they said about Obama, "never be a black man in the white house" though********
- Mark my words, democrats would vote for anyone. Conservatives? not so much.DrBombay
- I don't deny that. Conservatives are more picky. Most Dems vote for financial reasons, Unions, etc.********

Why Schwarzenegger is right (California is screwed)
http://swooshing.wordpress.com/2…Posted by http://www.crunchbase.com/person… Travis Kalanick, successful entrepreneur.
Tax stats on a per capita basis (unless otherwise noted):
- CA’s state/local tax burden ranks 6th highest in the nation
- CA business tax environment ranks 48th lowest nationally
- CA top individual tax rate ranks #1
- CA corporate income tax highest in west, #9 in the U.S.
- CA property tax collections are in the middle of the pack, 19th highest nationally (avg. $$ per household, 28th on per capita basis)
- CA sales tax rate of 8.25% (2006) is highest in the countrySource: http://www.taxfoundation.org/res…
Summary: CA citizens carry some of the highest tax burdens in the U.S. on almost every tax category you can come up with. Even on the property tax issue, CA ranks middle of the pack at #19.
Now let’s look at the quality of services:
- Quality of Healthcare: CA ranks 50th in quality of healthcare provided (and 39th overall if you include factors other than quality)
- Quality of Education: CA ranks 42nd in reading and math scores by 4th and 8th grade students
- Violent Crime per capita: CA ranks 14th highest in violent crime rates

The President inherited a $10 trillion dollar deficit, 8.1% unemployment, 2+ wars, and the largest financial collapse since the great depression. Regardless of campaign promises, expecting a president, any to president, to make good on all our problems is at best unrealistic.
According to politifact, the President has actually kept more promises on the economy than broken.

On January 20, 2009, the Dow Jones industrial average was at 7,949.09. Right now it's at 12,090.45, +34% since his inauguration.
The Standard & Poor's 500 index was at 805.22, now 1246.23. +35%
The Nasdaq composite index was, 1440.86 now 2626.77. +45%
The markets are still uncertain but not entirely as bad as it was. Obviously job creation is still the biggest issue but it's not like the president hasn't been proposing job creation bills, regardless of the constant opposition received from the opposition party.
Not trying to entirely defend the man. This is a big fucked up system and I wish there where better candidates to choose from, but I don't see how Republicans in recent time have shown themselves to be more capable of dealing with all these issues.

Corzine: "I don't know where the money is?"

The term Semite means a member of any of various ancient and modern Semitic-speaking peoples originating in southwestern Asia, including; Akkadians (Assyrians and Babylonians), Eblaites, Ugarites, Canaanites, Phoenicians, Hebrews (Israelites, Judeans and Samaritans), Arameans, Chaldeans, Amorites, Moabites, Edomites, Hyksos, Arabs, Nabateans, Maganites, Shebans, Sutu, Maltese, Mandeans and Ethiopian Semites. It was proposed at first to refer to the languages related to Hebrew by Ludwig Schlözer, in Eichhorn's "Repertorium", vol. VIII (Leipzig, 1781), p. 161. Through Eichhorn the name then came into general usage (cf. his "Einleitung in das Alte Testament" (Leipzig, 1787), I, p. 45). In his "Geschichte der neuen Sprachenkunde", pt. I (Göttingen, 1807) it had already become a fixed technical term.[1]The word "Semitic" is an adjective derived from Shem, one of the three sons of Noah in the Bible (Genesis 5.32, 6.10, 10.21), or more precisely from the Greek derivative of that name, namely Σημ (Sēm); the noun form referring to a person is Semite.
The term "anti-Semitic" (or "anti-Semite") overwhelmingly refers to Jews only. It was coined in 1879 by German journalist Wilhelm Marr in a pamphlet called, "The Victory of Germandom over Jewry". Using ideas of race and nationalism, Marr argued that Jews had become the first major power in the West. He accused them of being liberals, a people without roots who had Judaized Germans beyond salvation. In 1879 Marr founded the "League for Anti-Semitism".[2]
