Fair enough, if it was just Beck I wouldn't really care either.
Thing is the newly elected House Majority Leader feels exactly the same way.
http://thehill.com/blogs/hillico…
House Republican Leader John Boehner (Ohio) is using language from the just-completed healthcare debate to blast the FCC's attempt to rein in broadband providers.
Boehner accused the agency Thursday of pursuing a "government takeover of the Internet," just hours after FCC Chairman Julius Genachowski unveiled the plan, which would place broadband providers under some of the same rules that have long governed phone companies.
"Under this job-killing big government scheme, the Obama administration is seeking to expand the power of the federal government," Boehner said in a statement.

The one-term president
Obama will defend his leftist agenda until defeated in 2012
http://www.washingtontimes.com/n…President Obama has lost more than the midterm election. He has lost his moral and political legitimacy. On Tuesday, voters repudiated Mr. Obama's socialist policies. The Democrats lost the House of Representatives in a historic landslide. The GOP picked up at least 60 seats. In the Senate, the Democratic majority has been substantially reduced. The liberal governing agenda is dead.
Mr. Obama misread his 2008 electoral mandate. The president embarked upon erecting a European entitlement state. Rather than fixing the economy, he chose the path of personal glory - and hubris: cementing his reputation as the most radical president in U.S. history.
Mr. Obama's presidency is a watershed.

I love how repubs like to talk about Obama's "leftist agenda". Talk to any serious lefty and they will froth at the mouth about how he has not pursued the agenda of his base, um...the lefties. And seriously, what has he done that is so "leftist"?
- He's black and dared to get elected.TheBlueOne

"HALIFAX, Canada — The United States faces a possible war with Iran to curb its nuclear ambitions and a "period of confrontation" with China over its currency, a top US lawmaker warned Saturday.
Republican Senator Lindsey Graham said his fellow conservative, fresh from their historic elections romp this week, support "bold" action to deal with Iran."http://www.google.com/hostednews…
I see. 'Confrontation' with China, war with Iran. On top of two dipshit wars that have drained the Treasury for no true national interest or purpose.
But remember, it's Dems who have the radical agenda!
- Because that's what the Rand Paul Tea Party libertarian types all asked for...more warukit

I think this thread provides the answer to why the election happened the way it did - a sizable number of Americans are fucking braindead.
Imagine if instead of just a couple people like the trolls who post racist gifs in this thread, you had millions who thought the same way. These are the kind of braindead idiots who think that logging in under an alias "BookaTeeWushingtan" is a hilarious and clever act of trolling.
Because of course making fun of the first black president by pretending to a black ex-slave who fought for civil rights makes tons of sense. Might as well log in as a Ku Klux Klan member to make fun of Republicans:)

A wonderful article about American jock culture, gay culture and homosociality/-sexuality:
http://trueslant.com/markdery/20…
This article is importantPrimates and other higher mammals live in what is called "prides": There is one alpha-male, who fertilizes the females, and then there are dozens of losers on the periphery who satisfy each other homosexually.
Whenever you read in popular media that homosexuality is a natural thing, giving an example of two wolves or gooses performing acts between themselves -- this is what they are referring to. And the stronger the hierarchy is in the pack, the more this is the case.
In human society losers gather together in men's fraternities, brotherhoods, sport clubs etc. Such is the biological nature of man, and especially the nature of all male subcultures: Army, sport fan clubs, beer, male alcoholic gatherings, fishing etc -- is all based on latent homosexuality.
The real share of homosexuals is not 5, 7 or 11 percent, but more like 95. The shiteater/herd/lemming instinct and latent homosexuality are all synonymous, btw.
In America, as we know, all normal students look up to jocks on athletic scholarships with expensive cars, who believe it is shameful to study or even read books. This is called jock culture (in more recent times, its derivative guidos), because it's citizens are stuffing socks in their pants to make penis look bigger.
Anyone who does not like it, they call fags and homos. The funny thing is that the jock and guido culture is in itself entirely homosexual, that is its members are tearing their asses to be like the characters of Tom of Finland, and are exclusively interested in male bonding (anything which involves beer).
Tom of Finland, of course, is a genius, but american jocks and guidos are just plain nauseous.
Incidentally, all these goths you read about who regularly shoot their classmates are doing so in protest. This is why I respect the goths and especially our local member scarabin. From the article:
"But for those with a functioning irony gland, he seemed, at the same time, to be hinting that real men, men who were truly comfortable with their own masculinity, didn’t need to strap on the prosthetic masculinity of the jock (whose very epithet reduces him to a big, swinging dick), the steroid-pumped weightlifter in his thong, the highway cop in mirrorshades and jackboots. The fact that all of the above are stock characters in homoerotic fantasy is no accident: their hyperbolized masculinity—what the postmodern theorist Arthur Kroker calls a “hysterical” masculinity, since it fairly screams its anxieties about its own manhood—ironically undermines itself, emphasizing not the impregnable masculinity of the subject but the social constructedness of gender—that is, the extent to which we’re all in drag."
