Netanyahu is like the Dick Cheney of Israel. There are plenty of moderate Israelis who want to resolve the Palestinian issue but they get sabotaged by the hardliners every time.

I'm really, really, really sick of the fucking short-sighted, into the memory hole bullshit of the right:
"Where is Obama?" he asked. Another demonstrator told him that the president had finished his speech, entering and exiting the arena through a different entrance, and Millam snorted in disgust.
"Why does the president of the United States have to sneak in the back door to avoid seeing the real people in this country?" he shouted into the megaphone. "That's not right. That's just not right."
--------------------------Oh, your upset because the president didn't walk near your little protest? Shit, I remember when Bush spoke in NYC and they herded all the protesters into cages near the waterfront ("free-speech zones") miles away from Bush and then arrested tons of people, for nothing.
Where was Mr. Millam's disgust then? Oh, wait, he was probably happy that they locked up them "kumbaya hippies" and kept them from getting within sight of Good ole Prezident Bush.
Fuck you. Fuck all you righthead dickwads. You're the biggest group of fucking hypocritical bullshit artists ever.
And then today Newt Gingrich, this fucking bastion of moral goodness who in a hissyfit shut down the entire US government (when he wasn't cheating on his wife and wringing his hands in public about Clinton being a "moral disgrace"), says:
"I think the Democratic leadership has to take some moral responsibility for having behaved with such arrogance, in such a hostile way, that the American people are deeply upset."
Seriously? Holy shit dude, I thought you were a fucking arrogant douchetard twenty years ago but I didn't throw a brick throough your fucking window. And if I did, would that be, I dunno, "cool" with you Newt because, you know, your legislative behavior was reason and legal justification to do so?
Seriously, you're all from planet Fucktard.

I think we'd be better off if the Republican party just ceased to exist at this point. I mean, sure, let's have a right of center party (or even better, multiple parties) but how about one that doesn't suck balls?
By that I mean one that doesn't just run around acting like lunatics and actually works on policy with the other side?
Every now and then someone will pop their head in here and be all like, you guys are so partisan. When the reality is I don't give a shit about either party, but when one of them has zero good ideas and is holding up progress on common sense things, what are you supposed to do? Pretend both sides are equally bad when they clearly aren't?

I thought they would be happy with that Supreme Court ruling that lets corporations spend directly on elections. But it looks like the RNC itself is now actually appealing a case to the SC to try and overturn the $2,000 cap on donations to a campaign for individuals and replace it with NO CAP at all. So if someone wants to deposit $500 million into a candidate's bank account, they can.
Someone defend this and tell me why this is a good idea, and more importantly why is Michael Steele and the RNC involved in this? Are they doing it because they care about your "freedom?"
- bc money=freedom for them. That is, and all it is. If you have money, you have freedom. If you don;t, well..********
- I dunno is it even gets to an ideological level, they probably just want money from their billionaire supporters;)ukit
- money doesnt = freedom. just as money cant buy love. money can be power which is likely whast its all about. i dont liek corporations buying congress and hate more the men in congress who let it happen********
- like companies buyign politicians and hate even more the politcians that get bought. hard to find one who isnt, last current admin speaking of which********

Currently listening to Christina Aguilera— "Keeps Gettin' Better". Cool tune.
Now, you lefty aholes, all you need to understand is one simple thing. That Americans have spilled blood to save you cunts. That's it. Nothing more to add at this time. Now each of you, go and watch your mothers suck some balls.

Someone create the "Laid-Off Because of ObamaCare®" Thread.

Just found out your wife has breast cancer sup. Rough time of it to. Figured you'd be attending to her.
Almost felt sorry for you. Almost. And then you say some douchebag shit like you just did.
"That Americans have spilled blood to save you cunts."
Dude, you were born in some dipshit central american country. You never served.
My family has lost blood and lives fighting for America since the Civil fucking War.
Suck my dick. Seriously SUCK MY DICK you fucking loser.

My grandfather fought for this country in the Pacific during WW2, never received any recognition let alone compensation. He finally immigrated here with my grandmother Jan. 2002.
He died before he got any compensation, recognition, or citizenship. Thank god he got some of the best medical care in his last days. He had prostate cancer, but it was pneumonia that was the coup d'grâce.
My mother has been a registered nurse since the 80's-longer than I've been alive. She loves her work and is dedicated to it. None of it stopped Newsom or whoever from handing her the pink slip earlier this month.
Is this country fucked up because we don't attend to the needs of the people? Because we allow the top 1% carte blanche on everything even if they fuck shit up? Is it all one big fucking mess? Can we change it? Yes.
On a dime? No. History has proven you can't turn a big system on a dime.
Maybe if people leave their ideological trenches and their hatred and ignorance at the door, we could have a rational discussion.

- Imagine where we would be if we had started looking into this in 1994. You can blame Gingrich and company (and neocon Bill Kristol) for that.Josev
- neocon Bill Kristol) for that.Josev
- dont like the 1% carte blanche. Sounds too much like trying to make top 1% slave to the masses. prefer if it didnt focus on color of money of tops********
- on the color of the amount of money so much as why the actions of the top 1% are to blame********
- would be better to specify the certain thigns the top 1% fuck up and how they are able to fuck it up********
- if they provide a job and can someone well then get better at your job. if they use politics as legal authority there is a problem********
- problem with that. if they force or enslave their is a problem. if they use the legal system to do their forcing its a problem, but more aproblem of legal system********
- more a problem of the legal political spectrum, since theyre hold all the legal power of force********
- A balanced and well thought out response. Imagine that.

Can someone enlighten me as to why conservatives and republicans feel an incredible sense of ownership and connection to the military? I understand that conservative politics are pervasive in the armed forces, so maybe it's an associative thing... but to me holding a position that advocates more diplomacy before sending Americans to die is a much more serviceperson-friendly position to have than having a fucking hardon for war.
- Simple-minded people who believe America is #1, everyone else should be bombed for the fun of it.joeth

I don't know if this has been mentioned yet but a Harvard study recently suggested 45,000 people die in America because of no insurance or poor access to healthcare.
http://www.harvardscience.harvar…
how do the conservatives put a price on 45,000 lives?
- Per year.luckyorphan
- Harvard?WTF do they know! How about a study from a school with actual credentials!fooler2
- JK I was just pretending I what a teabagger would say to that.fooler2
- luckyorphan0
^ Sure, but what about Al Qaeda?
I'm not sure what is more surprising...a. 45,000 people die each year in America due to poor access to health care,
b. Medical bills cause 50% of all personal bankruptcies in the US,
c. Conservatives and Republicans don't seem moved by either of these statistics,
d. Liberals and Democrats haven't been hammering these stats home to their advantage,
e. The band plays on.- I'm sure I won't get a valid, thought out response to this from any conservative on here.luckyorphan

Yeah, Republicans would have a better reputation if they cared as much about children after they were born, as they do before. If they put nearly as much energy and effort into helping living children as they have put into trying to ban abortion, we'd have a much better country.
- < Agreed.luckyorphan
- ...though neither party has a lock on intellectual consistency.luckyorphan
- Josev0
Yeah, we have that in MA. Romney doesn't bring it up when he's out there criticizing Obama. Our health insurance has also failed to address rising costs and is creating a problem for the state. My premium goes up by 40% next month and aside from Doctors office visits it pays for little until I meet my deductible.

An honest question for the conservatives here...
If you could vote tomorrow for a new president, who would you want it to be?
- ********0
I would vote for ...
Headly Lamarr, representative from Rock ridge!
