it was bad enough before , all this will do is ensure that no actual rooted down every day person can get to the top of the political spectrum

Is it going to be a case of some corp simply expressing their "right to free speech?"
Of course fucking not. What will happen is that corporations will use the THREAT of massive ad expenditures/ persuasion money to get politicians to tow the company line.
It will be a race to see who can become the most submissive bitch to rich people. That's what this is about in the real world, not "corporations" as an abstract entity but rich people. And not just rich Americans but anyone who wants to launder money into a campaign.
Granted, that sounds a lot like our current system, so we'll have to see how much worse it can get (famous last words)

What about the fact that Obama broke all campaign fundraising records raising more than $750 million dollars? That made me pretty sick to my stomach jut thinking about it.

Wow! Obama is talking about placing some serious limits on American banks. I mean, I can see some areas where bank regs need to be refined, but he is going way too far AGAIN. Ffs, what in the heck is this guy trying to do???

Are you fucking retarded? Look at the shitstorm that just went down...economic crash, bailout. I thought that was what the tea party people were against, the need to bail out these banks.
The whole thing was made possible by the repeal of the Glass Steagal Act in the 90s which allowed banks to make these kinds of risky investments at great profit to themselves. That's all Obama is proposing, taking us a few steps back towards that framework which served the country just fine for almost a century.
Amazing that you can hear what happened today and still be so completely blind to what is really going on.
