So i've decided to rebrand myself and this is what i've started working with so far. It's very rough. Let me know what you guys think. thanks

For starters, I'd recommend a different name.

Something along the lines of 1b - but it still needs a lot of tweak play to get it looking natural. I find some of the swashes a bit heavy - but I don't know whether I'd shrink them down - or plump up the rest of the text to compensate. I'd certainly detach the top swish on the h from the t - or at least make each element more distinct. I'm also not sure whether having it on one baseline is a good call - I kind of expect these things to end up on two or three - and that's not including the subline.
In the subline, the word 'design' seems a bit anorexic, and I've not idea what's going on in 'illustration' but i reads 'ilhstration' or something.

thanks guys. i'll def take into consideration everything that has been said. I've been staying away from more corporate work lately, that's why i was going with a more playful look. but then again i guess once I decide to use something i'm kind of stuck with it

they are more logos for some '80 music band.. I like em, but i'm not so for that brush script.

I would make a few changes :
-I'd use the h loop to make the t horizontal bar (and I would let this bar higher than the e and m.
-I'd put the s separated from the &nice logo anyway.

I think its going to become an albatross round your neck. Its already a passé retro style. It can take less than six months for the zeitgeist to switch direction and I think before the year is out you'd really be cursing youeself for commiting to this as a branding style.
