Well I went for 70k, but the position I don't think pays that much from what my friend heard from the woman who interviewed me. Sux. I don't know maybe in Houston it's hard to come by? Dunno.

in all honesty redant; i have looked at your portfolio and seeing as you have that much time under your belt, clearly know what you are doing, and can assuredly carry on a conversation about design intelligently, I would be asking a hell of a lot more than 70k. i would begin at 90k and work my way up from there, laid out with sound defense why of course.

Tell them you want 100k. When they offer you 85k, ask for a title with the word "Director" in it some where. Ditch Graphic Designer as a title ASAP.
