Years ago I always wondered what would happen when this guy died. I think it was after watching three trailers in a row voiced by him. I guess we will just have to addapt to silent trailers or get Fran Drescher to carry on the flame.....

A friend of mine e-mailed Don LaFontaine on a whim a few years ago. He was working on a short film for a school project and wanted him to do a voiceover for the trailer. Not only did he get a reply but he actually got the full voiceover, free of charge. I thought that was pretty spectacular of him. Outstanding guy.

I work at a trailer-house, and got to talk to him almost every day, during certain campaigns. He was a really nice guy.
