I am looking for a Swedish/Norwegian font, that has a wide weight range. (Thin - Bold). The client is from Sweden, and I would like something that represents her home, and has connotations in the fashion world.
I would use Helvetica nueve, but I believe it now has a bad connotation in the fashion world from being overused.
What do you think would be a good fit?

Have a goo, myfonts breaks it down by country, so you can take a look at swedish foundries and see what they're producing.

chalet newy york or akkurat light, maybe

Sans serif is best, Chalet New York is real nice, Akkurat I read is a bit to similar to Helvetica nueve.
