how is an IP ban possible? all I have to do is reset my modem and I get a new IP. most people don't have static IPs. unless they ban a whole block of addresses, which could take out entire cities.

you can get IP banned. I was for a while (along with everyone else in my building). but there are always ways round it.
shame about dobs.
