hey fellow qbn'rs
a little shameless self proomotion, my wife and I are trying to get a little designer side business going, screen printed baby and toddler clothing.
Any critique, or help to spread the word is appreciated.

I think your designs are beautiful and a great addition to an otherwise stagnant sector of clothing design but I do have one critique: your prices. My girlfriend works with kids and daycare and whenever we're walking through the mall or I show her some good baby clothes design her answer is always the same, "why would I spend so much on something that is going to get destroyed and grown out of in 2 months or less?"

Nice, next time I need to buy a baby a gift, I will hit it up. Shouldn't be too long.

sweet, I love the baby owl hoody

love the baby owl hoody as well...
Ninja...my response would be this:
most folks in many cases aren't buying this for themselves (their own kids) it's for gifts, presents, showers etc...
i mean, ya...you're right...i wouldn't spend 35 bucks on a hoody for my 2 year old, considering he's just gonna smother it in yogurt this afternoon...but i WOULD spend it to give the hoody as a present....no one wants to give cheap-ass crap as a present (as in, hey...congrats on little Jeffries 3rd birthday...here's a 3 dollar shirt from the bargain-bin!)- exactly - meant to be gifts which $30-$35 is pretty average. We also use premium American Apparel organic and cotton materials so they are good quality. Our 3 year old son has been wearing his owl hoody for over a year and it still looks brand new. We are also targeting the boutique market

also agree, great designs, but i get 3 shirts for $10 for my kids, nice stuff from mexx, roots, gap whatever that they outgrow in a month or two.
not your fault though, the greedy printers/manufacturers are marking it up way too much.
