David Milliband the UK foreign secretary was getting a grilling this morning on BBC radio about the international pressures being put on Russia and the real context of Georgias invasion of south Ossetia. Interestingly his only way of brushing off the accusations was that Russia had been invited to join NATO. Why on earth would/should they do that?
There is also talk of kicking them out of the G8.....
