Seriously, though, my brother and sister are going (they live in the area). Hanging out in the baking sun with a bunch of loopy freaks, getting covered with dust isn't my thing, but more power to 'em.

it's like a big cirque de sole for adults, i heard last year 60k went. but last time i was there seemed like most of the dregs from middle america had pretty much run of the place. there were lot's of beer belly's and incredibly ugly women.

it was fun when it was on the beach in SF and i could walk home, not so keen on being trapped in the desert with 10s of thousands of randoms

I've never been, but i enjoy art installations very very much and would LOVE to see this sort of stuff live one day.
