If it's a good friend that you think would help you out with something when you needed it then yes do it.
But I know people asked me all the time for shit like that, that I worked years for, when they would never put that much effort into such a thing.

I've found that, random unassociated designers completely frown upon sharing their libraries, but designers working in the same studio/agency will toss around their personal libraries with each other like it's absolutely nothing.
The point of the story here is that every person, deep down, has an asshole as low as the next's.
