It's a mass consumer brand - of course it's 3d, bevelled, gradiated and beshadowed - it'd be ludicrous if it weren't.
The concerns of a certain class of designers - people I respect, like moamoa here, for instance - a largely irrelevant to the proles.
But yeah, the kerning on the tt is a bit shonky.

there are also "good" examples of modernising a logo, I won´t say 2.0 in this case.

- Thomas Reutersthere are also some which goes the way back, or reduce their logos
