Was hoping to get some feedback on work generated at grad school

some nice clean work in there.
site is alright too, but i would lose the intro, it serves no purpose.

Really good.
It needs some minor tweaks, mostly about the timing and easing of the thumbnail animations (make them faster and smoother) and
doublecheck the image compression, some of them are a bit fuzzy/blurry. And possibly make the slide buttons on the bottom-right of the images more visible and clear, otherwise people will miss them. And probably i'd use a darker grey, but possibly it's just my display.I really like the wine packaging, really fresh!
Best of luck in finding a job.

you should use an exact grid.

I like your packaging work a lot :)
Your website needs some refining though, it takes too long to get into your work. Too many screens to go through, loading etc.

Your experimental typography stuff looked interesting. Really small visuals though. I'd say the same about the intro. I'm sure you;ll do fine getting work.

ahh, but will it blend!?

The work is very nice although the images a perhaps a bit too dinky, especially at high resolutions. I agree that the intro doesn't serve much of a purpose other than a pre-loader - i actually wanted to start clicking through the work right from the splash. I also agree that there are too many clicks involved to view the work with no real reward for clicking so many times.
I'm going to try and find an older link about non-heirarchical design and the art object existing no more than one click away. Get back to you when I do.

Oh also some of your copy includes improper verb tense - if you have a proofreader/editor you can run this stuff by it will help a lot. People *do* still read you know :D
