Check Bonanno Article by Digital Content Producer about the workflow from an indie standpoint with low budget for a high end music video. Article is follows:
- emukid0
is this article about you?
- 5timuli0
You're damn right it is!
- 5timuli0
5timuli thinks emukid hit the nail on the nail's head.

Third person talker!
- dog_opus0
dog_opus is of the opinion that 5timuli is correct in thinking that emukid is correct.
- emukid0
emukid wants to know how much the Red costs these days and is the Scarlett any close to being available?

Indy workflow ha ha ha, to me indy means people with little or no money yet they have Red camera stock if they managed to get it hired and shot for an indy budget.

I just read the article fully, not something I would recommend atall!!! they were using final cut 6.0 it should have been 6.0.2 or later. Also the workflow which was described is not ideal, they only touched upon crimson which is the best way to grade your shots, it is really circuitus but after doing it a couple of times it is easy. I do not think this article has any benefit to be gained by reading it.
- don't be so negative . I didnt touch on Crimson for a reason. And I did breifly explain it. This project was ddone in May, when there was a TON of problems with 64bit machines, Quicktime and REDCODE.ONA1R

Chooy, This production was VERY early to the RED. Even RED Admits at the time, it was impossible to use one of the better workflows. Besides, I do all my color correcting in Photoshop. I am willing to bet you have never used the Red , and in that case, you dont know what you are talking about. and When I said use it, I mean not only shoot with it, but biring it all the way back to post. I will of course be editing them.

Thats great, But like i said, no need to be negative. I do ALL my color correcting in After Effects anyway, being someone who comes from that world. This was my first time using the dcamera, and I wanted to share all my experiences. No need to get nasty, Id rather this be a conversation than an argument. Agreed??

I am sooooooooooo sick of the term "Indie". Such a marketing cliche now.
- and using the word "sooooooooo" isnt a cliche?23kon
- saying something is cliche in a post pointing out something cliche , is cliche.********
