Shave your head, stop sitting down to piss, stop drinking white wine spritzers. Walk around swigging a bottle of straight JD's and get a tattoo of the biohazard symbol on the back of your bald head. Then start walking around like Johnny Cash. People will blatantly stop and stare and you'll feel like the fucking man.
RE: CV, I had a typo on my name and still got a job. Was a great convo starter when recruiters called.

Also, for your typo. The spell-checker is fine. Concepting is a word, just not the word you wanted. Be sure to proofread carefully and have others proofread for you as well.

meffid- 3 weeks ago, a recruiter for a company I really wanted to work for contacted me, and set me up for an interview the next week. Then he called back and said I was gonna have an interview with a second "talent aquisition manager" this girl had a great conversation with me and said she was gonna call to schedule a inverview at the company as soon as the next week. Then she never called and then the first guy called asking how the inverview was... I really think the recruiting girl or someone else opened up the resume and saw the mistake come up in red. A week later the same position was posted again on the job site...
I really think I lost a good job because of it.- Unless it was a copywriting job, I SEVERLY doubt that was the reason.meffid
