Your profile says LBC. Is it for a job in NY? What department? OffAir, OnAir, Promos? They are good people in all of them. You'll learn a lot and get some great portfolio work. Month to month is normal for them. It's also normal for it to turn into permalance.

los angeles area.
- You're being so vague about it all. Hard to give you any help. Just go at it like any other interview. I think 95% of the design for MTV usa is done in NYC.Douglas
- ...design for MTV in the US is done in NYC. Not sure what you'll be doing in the LA office.Douglas
- If it's the one in SantaMonica on Colorado, all I could offer is good lunch suggestions.Douglas
- Ya then go hit up Lionsgate across the entrance area for more work.silentseven

I've heard they pay like shit, work you long and hard, and throw you out when they're done with you.

I've freelanced for them for about 2 years. I was doing a lot of work for those shitty reality TV shows like the OC (Flash stuff for the site). God, I couldn't stand that shit. They paid very oddly too. Sometimes I got paid shit and other times I was paid a lot for doing shit. At least the people were cool. To what I hear, if you're getting a FT job there, expect to be slaved and underpaid. A cool job nonetheless tho.
