Jaline.. they're yahoo now, the prolly paid a $1m for the domain which originally were out of the question.
They're yahoo = the board trying hard to make the impression they're working hard to deflect microsoft's bids and convince the investors so keep them at the wheel and to keep their money in the stock

They've been trying to get this redesign done for a while.
Kept having problems

it took me a little bit of time to get used to it, but i think it's an obvious improvement from the previous version.

you know i gotta say on first glance i miss the simplicity of the old version. it might be something I appreciate after I get used to though.
99% of the time I access my delicious through the firefox plugin so I never really visit the site.

I miss the old version ... but I guess I'll get used to it.
I wish you could keep the no frills one.

wow! so does this mean that domain hacks are on their way out?
i wonder if in 8 years we'll be saying "remember when people thought it was a good idea to call their website del.icio.us?"
- It's easier to type out. Maybe http://delicious.com… wasn't available at the time and they recently acquired it.Jaline

Prettier, doesn't seem more usable though.
There was a tool, called del.icious dir.ector that allowed you to browse your del.icio.us bookmarks in 3 columns iTunes - style. That was really good.
