That last episode was good, leaves us with a lot to look froward to...
hopefully they don't do the same as last time, when we come back 2 years later and miss all the shit that happens, leaving a lot of lose strings.Peggys character is way better now, she can be fairly cold sometimes, shes like Dons sith apprentice hahaha
Petes a pussy, he needed that gut check.
Duck is gonna lose control again (they gave hint that he's done that before in the previous episodes.)
Heres something I never got. whats the big deal with Don not having a contract? and why did Duck think he had him by the balls because of it? The only think I can think of is done can leave when ever with his share of the company??? no penalties?
Betty needed to get nailed I guess, she always acts like a kid, its only right that for her to get passed this, she needed revenge.
In the end I love how Don played his hand, told them to fuck off and was in a good spot.
ok, I'm done talking to myself hahaha
- Cause earlier Duck said to Peter that it didn't matter if Don liked the situation or not, he couldn't go anywhere else totommyo
- work because he had a non-compete clause in his contract. Ooops, he doesn't have a contract. Doh!tommyo
- oooooohhh got it. duuuuuhhhsofakingbanned

A really good interview with the show’s creator.

I missed that Betty had the affair!! With the horse guy? I thought it was just her friend who did. WOW! So what symbolism can we take from the fact that she then gives her daughter the riding boots as a present for “becoming such a big girl”?
The layers, THE LAYERS!!!
- No she doesn't bang that guy....
have you seen the last episode? I don't wanna spoil it anymore than I have.sofakingbanned - I have watched it. Who’d she, as you put it, “get nailed” by?MrOneHundred
- The guy at the bar. Remember? Did you get some popcorn and miss that scene?sofakingbanned
- Which guy at which bar? Season Finale, right? WTF?MrOneHundred
- yea... episode name "Meditations In an Emergency" I have it if you wanna see it again hahahasofakingbanned
- shit, now you have me second guessing myself, that was the final episode right???sofakingbanned
- I have it. Maybe it got cut out, or I was really tired. I’ll watch it again tonight. Thanks.MrOneHundred
- The scene is about min. 22

Jon Hamm (Don Draper) was great on SNL.

Don will pocket his 500,000, start a competing agency and steal their business

^ That's what I was wondering as well, I was squinting like hell to tell for sure.
For a moment I was sure that it would end with Pete hurling himself off a building, fulfilling the show's title animation.

fantastic show. when men were men and not women.

I just started watching Season 1 this week and I am hooked. Only watched the first two episodes - got them on my iphone. I'm a big fan of much of the quick wit of Sopranos, and Mad Men seems to have a similar style of put downs and quips and whatnot.
Something tells me this show has caused a tremendous amount of modern day ad guys and creatives to wish they were around back then - couches in the office, drinking, smoking...

That last scene between Peggy and Pete was brutal! Wow. I was surprised that she told him and in the way she did. Bbrrrr...

So did anyone watch the season finale?
I liked it, they needed to spice things up.
- identity0
YES! it was the shot in the arm I was really hoping for... I love the way they manage to mirror our own-time (acquisitions, lay-offs, turmoil) with a positive slant (entrepreneurship, start-ups, etc...)
I cant wait to see what Sterling, Cooper, Draper & Price is going to be in season 4!
(and thank GOD Joan is back)
