So hedge, how would one ease into investing in the market? I want to try trading a little for fun. You know, small stuff.

Open up an account with a discount brokerage and you can start trading equities very easily. A brokerage like Scottrade, E-trade, and the like.
If you want to short sell, trade options, etcetera, you will need a margin account though.

Today was a good day. I woke up a little late after a night of drinking, ate some street meat lamb, had a mild amount of work, there was a PSB, and i'm going home to watch a movie.
