If you want to get fit try this...
I hit the weighs for about 3 months, then did crossfit for the last month and really cleaned up my diet. Crossfit is brutal but I've never felt stronger and healthier...

Us true chosen ones are born aikido, we do not have to learn it.
That is for lesser mortals who wish a taste of aikido.

sounds about right

When you become a true master of Aikido you will be able to maintain the "floating animal" moves. These combination of moves allow the indiviual to defy gravity and confuse your oponents as you "freeze" in awkward positions in mid air.
Observe the "Upsidedown Tortoise"
Behold the "Scissor Crane"
Watch in wonder as the master demonstrates the difficult "Straight Snake" move.
A relatively easy move, the "Tumbling Panther"
The "Eagle Wings" is another easy move, and easy for your opponent to combat. Notice in this image, his opponent is using "Sonic Spaceball" energy to forcce his opponent out of the "Eagle Wings" move.
The "Jumping Leech" requires contact with your opponent. As you freeze in mid-air you grab an arm or leg of your opponent and drain their energy - like a leech draining blood.

Please be careful trying any of these moves. they are really only meant for true Aikido masters

Aikido rolls are great. I shocked some friends and myself a few times with the ability to roll instantly. It is so easy to do once you learn it. In an advanced version, you do rolls without the use of your hands.Backward roll is great - you roll backwards from a standstill, and in a second you're up and standing again.
From numerous "note to sober self" archives: don't drink and roll.

Ok I quit. I'm just too damned lazy. I went for two months and had my fill.
