Compared to the other designs you've posted I think this is an improvement, you've done a good job of getting rid of the unnecessary elements. Keep in mind though the fact that it's minimal means that a lot will rest on how well you display and integrate your portfolio pieces, so you should mock those up as soon as you can and see how it looks. Also, this is a small detail but the tiny diagonal arrows next to some of the text items look a little weird to me, maybe move them a little bit further from the text.

Oh yeah, I get that. I'm just saying it will be helpful to see some actual work in there since that will be the main focus of the site considering the lack of color and minimal look of the containing design.

i was planning on photographing some work i do with the logo, for the main page (yet to be done)
and photographing my work for the appriate pages but i will drop some stuff in and show you lot

the design is ok - its probably the work inside it that will make the site what it is and you've cut the scrollbar out like a fuckin retardhope that helps and good luck
