idea for a music video

So me and some of my friends are doing a music video of one of my songs. Our idea is to have me seating on the sidewalk playing guitar while people passes by. Im gonna play the song super slow so when I put the video on regular speed with the original song I'll be in regular speed and the poeople walking faster. or should it be backwards ? like the final should be people in slowmotion and I play regular?
then I wanna get close up shots of people walking doing interesting stuff like typical girl kissing guy, some skate boarders doing a trick. you think this is cool? or stupid? any thoughts on how this can be cooler? if you are in miami this weekend and want to be in the video hit me up. should this be at night or during the day?

Not knowing what the song's about, its kind of difficult for me to offer wholly constructive feedback, but yeah, it sounds like a cool concept. However, why not make those slo-mo shots more atypical? Again, I don't know the subject matter of the song, so maybe the typical stuff is what would be more appropriate. The backwards idea seems cool, but perhaps may be reminiscent of that Coldplay video.

if you want to catch stuff like a skateboard trick or a typical kiss, it'd make more sense to (in your shots) play the song fast and slow all the footage down. If you speed up the footage, all those other images will go by too fast, Of course, depending on the format you're shooting and editing on, it could not look that great
Then again, you could do both. Have sped up footage until it gets to an event (trick, kissing, stabbing) and then throw on the brakes and go in slow-mo until the event is done- yeah it might be a bit diffcult but I Can ty itjoseprieto

walk backwards down the street playing really slow.
I'm sure it's been done before....but fuck it...if you haven't done it before...it should look cool and be fun.

Don’t do it backwards!!! It is REALLY hard to get it to look convincing you will have to learn to sing the song backwards, phonetically and the lip-sync it perfectly – that’s hard enough to do forwards. My old band tried it in a video and ended up scrapping the whole section (ie lots of hours and lots of expensive film).

Why don’t you do something like an homage to an old video? I always wanted to do this video
but have a twist on it, like shoot it on a cheesily-built set in a high-school auditorium, and show all the rigging and crew and stuff – like the filming of the filming.
