I've been there before beautiful place, great people and to my surprise, excellent food!I have a Canon 40D I'm undicided on what kind of lens to take on this trip (Im thinking a macro and a wide angle?)! Any suggestions?

I have a 17-40L, very nice wide angle, not cheap but not rediculous.

get a 24mm-70mm 2.8, its great for everything.

It looks like there are some nice vistas, bring the 100-400 so you can crop distance shots. but really, what do you wish to make images of? you should be a bit more specific.
- For sure landscape shots, portraits, and architecture photos... since some of the buildings there are more than 100 yrs oldhektor911

take your 28-135 and a wide angle like the 10-22 ef-s lens.
