There's a big BBDO office in that area. It's all auto stuff, naturally.

it looks like you have some solid work, do yourself a favour and move to NY, London, San Fran, Toronto, Amsterdam, Paris, Montreal, Dubai, Sydney, Tokyo, and 345,987 other cities that aren't Detroit.
- Well I suppose taking more away from the Michigan economy would help it out.... wait a minute...d_rek

Thanks for the responses! What's with the angst against Detroit? You should all be thankful that Detroit exists! It serves as a perfect example of what not to do with your city :D

Hey, I love Detroit as if it came out of my own womb, but for design (unless you want to do automative shit) it is shite!
I went to school there at lawrence tech and now I visit at least 2/3 times a year to see friends.
I moved to New Haven, CT, then NYC. Now I'm planning the next move.

You do mostly print? Any idea if you prefer an agency or a boutique? I would say print is going to be tough right now, most of the bigger agencies are shifting more to digital.

I dabble in(but not limited to): print, interactive, identity, illustration + photography.
I don't really have a preference as far as the size of company I work for - I work well in small, intimate environments as well larger corporate structures.

i've never been there, but I've spent too much time on this site...

Yeah, the MOCAD had a great exhibition when it first opened (shrinking cities) concerning the topic of Detroit's(and other large cities) economy.
Also, I got some great pictures from the van dyke + ferry st. area, around I-75, check them out: http://www.flickr.com/photos/139…
