"The new profile has finally arrived. To access it, please go to http://www.new.facebook.com. On the top of the screen, you will see the option to send feedback as well as switch between the new version and the old version. Over the next few weeks, as the trial version winds down, we’ll be opting everyone into the new Facebook."

Yeah this is old news. But a friend keeps insisting why the old facebook layout is better basically for negligent reasons such as "It's not the same" and "all my stuff isn't on one page". I keep trying to explain to him why it's better - from a designers standpoint as well as being a facebook user.
pros:
-Much cleaner overall in terms of aesthetic and functionality
-Separation of content creates a much less cluttered interface, also helps organize the content more efficiently
-More customizable
-Better integration of appsCons:
-Seperation of content forces users to navigate to get to it
-all of the feed/wall/modules aren't on one page
-apparently runs a lot slower in IE for certain users...Not that I necessarily agree with the cons. But am just looking for other designers/users to back me up on why it's better so I can throw it in this guys face. Thx.
