What do people think of him?
Did anyone see him drive at Silverstone last week? -impressive to say the least.
- Raniator0
He's the man. A future champion for sure.
- jamble0
The press will hype him up as the saviour of British sport then wait for the first opportunity to knock him down.
He seems like a decent bloke and I've no doubt he'll win a championship at some point.

HE doesn't deserve to be champion this year, that's for sure
- why not? just because he lost his no-claims bonus to the back of kimi's carSamush
- and the other school boy error the following race, pitting early or summit. the kid needs to get some experienceDancer
- After winning the race at Silverstone in the rain, and blowing everyone away, I think your find he does deserve to win the championshiproundabout
- All those mistakes Dancer? - that's the experience he will learn from.JerseyRaindog
- nope. everyone else just spunDancer

Good racer, I first noticed him when he was driving in the F2 championship, and you could see the talent then. World champion in the making. But this year he has made allot of mistakes.
- Dancer0
he's not boy wonder, he's good but only as good as the car beneath him. Kubica is a gonna be a great driver
- Silverstone was the first time I saw him make a mistake all year.JerseyRaindog
- hahahah where have you beenroundabout
- I'm talking about Kubica - he's been on it all year.JerseyRaindog

He's a young man with enormous expectation on his shoulders. He's making some silly mistakes but when he doesn't make mistakes he shows awesome ability. He's still only in his second season remember. Give the guy a chance.
- this is the Uk - hes had long enough :) we dont give folk timemistermik
- Dancer0
that is exactly it. he is in his second season and so far does not deserve to win the championship.

He maybe a great driver (especially in the wet), and he does deserve a world championship or two. But he's a bell end. I've never, ever seen a rookie with so much ego.

Arghhhh... Not like him, defiinitelly... and stop comparing him to Schumi.
Seems a spoiled, irreflexibe and idiot kid to me. I allways hated alonso, and now prefer him over to lewis.
If fernando or kubica are going to ferrari next year, we´ll see the difference, the real difference betwen a real pilot and this guy.

Just to clarify:
I think he is a good driver, with the potential to be a great driver. I do think that his temperament is not great and he has made a couple of errors this season (one was a howler). With time he will get better but for the moment I do not think he is the best driver on the track.Let's not blow smoke up is arse now when he doesn't derserve it as much as others

he has nicole scherzinger.

He needs more verve & gusto.
Also, F1 as a whole would benefit heavily from fan-controlled Blow-Out track sections, like I had in my Scalextric set when I was a kid. Or, perhaps, just mines, gatling guns and razor-wire.

I was at Silverstone last week, and he fucking rules.
He is exceptional in every case.... frist black racer, first rookie to win loads, everything he does is amazing.
I love him
im a fan anyway

Well, he's a great racer with the benefit of a great car.. he and Sutil were very close in GP2, but Sutil got a sh-t car in F1, and you can see the difference the car makes...
He blew it last year when he had the title wrapped up, but at least he always (almost) took the high ground and was civil about the whole Alonso thing..
Def a champ one of these years, but I don't think this year.. (Go Massa!)...and he needs to fire his father, how old is he? 24 and he can't go anywhere without daddy?
- flashbender0
He's got talent, but he's also been groomed by Denis for nearly his entire career and supposedly he has said that he plans on spending his entire career with McLaren. We'll see if this holds true.
He is certainly talented, but as Alonso shows, the car matters a lot more than the driver in today's F1. So as McLaren goes, so goes Hamilton.
I do like him though, and I hope he does get a title or two. But I think that is a few years off still
